We offer a variety of flexible 4 to 5-month programs available with daytime and evening classes, and we also provide externship service. Our classes are small, focusing on individual/personal attention when needed. Upon completion of the course, job-referral assistance is available.
About The Program PHARM TECHS R US, LLC is certified to operate by SCHEV and offers the entry level Pharmacy Technician Training for individuals who are starting a career or someone who wants a career change. The increasing responsibilities of the pharmacist and the aging population make the employment outlook for pharmacy technicians very good. The objective of this program is to provide well-trained pharmacy technicians to feel the needs of the overly tasked pharmacist and the emergence of the pharmacies moving to the Hampton Roads area. The training consists of hands-on classes offered two days or nights a week. Students complete the training in as little as four months. The last four weeks consist of an externship. After completion of this program, students are qualified to seek a position as a pharmacy technician in a retail, long term care, or hospital setting and/or sit for the National Pharmacy Technician Examination. Job Referral Assistance is available for qualified students.
